Wells Cathedral New Music Events

We are pleased to announce that Wells Cathedral has a new round of musical events to tempt and amaze over the next few months. On August 13th, there is a free Lunchtime Organ Recital with David Bednall, Organist from the University of Bristol. However, we have minimum availability for these dates, so book now to avoid disappointment!

In October, we have three World Premieres on the 11th and 15th during mass, with Robin Walker, William Drakett and Michael Berkeley. There is also an evening with Michael Berkeley on the 14th at 7:30pm, or if you prefer, a masterclass with him on the 15th between 2 and 4pm.

There is another organ recital on the 15th of October with Paul Walton from the Bristol Cathedral from 1pm, and more lunchtime concerts on the 13th and 14th of October. These are the works of student composers, with help from Michael Berkeley.

On December 20th and 21st, there is a fabulous Carols and Christmas Music by Candlelight Service at 7pm. Unfortunately, we have no availability for this event.
